Soumya joined Visa in 2016 and is currently responsible for the overall management and strategy development and execution across all aspects of Visa’s South Asia business in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. Soumya brings a wealth of experience to his role, with more than 15 years of experience across financial services, payments, information services, and technology solutions across India, South Asia, and Southeast Asian markets. Prior to Visa, Soumya held management positions with leading multinational companies working in the areas of business development, key accounts management, digital transformation, and solution designing. Soumya regularly participates in and speaks at various industry events and public forums in the areas of payments, fintech, digital banking, etc. Soumya holds an MBA from the International Management Institute.
